These committees report to the Awards Committee.
Each committee is responsible for a specific named award
Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide a forum within CIES for the involvement of individuals drawn together by common interest in a field of study. Recognized SIGS will also receive conference space for sessions at the Annual Conference. A SIG must be constituted by at least 15 active CIES members.
These are committees which represent particular sectors of members . Like SIGs they have self selected members but do not pay dues. The members participate in the selection of the administrators of the committee.
